Carbon Footprint
Consensus definition: An entity’s carbon footprint is the direct effect its actions have on the environment in terms of carbon dioxide emissions. The carbon footprint is estimated by calculating the total amount of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases emitted over the full lifecycle of all resources used by the entity, usually expressed as weight units of CO2 equivalents.
