What I’ve been doing for the last 14 years now is working hard to educate people about, first of all, the reality of global warming, climate change, the economic potential that is present in a challenge like that. Sort of the Oriental problem is also an opportunity. And the quicker we look at energy and energy problems as energy opportunities, economic opportunities, the better off we’ll be. And so I see my role as simply helping people see that this isn’t a game where we want a bunch of winners and losers. We don’t the capital that’s invested in our current energy technology to be lost. Instead, we want to start working to, very rapidly, to transition ourselves toward sustainability, in the true sense of the word sustainability. Not just sustaining someone’s special interest, but sustaining human beings, our children and grandchildren, on this earth for the long term.
