For me it’s a homeowner choice, a member choice. If they want to generate their own electricity through some sort of distributed generation process like wind or solar, I’m okay with that. If they want to take my product, then that’s even better. But I see my role as a cooperative manager of giving that customer a choice and making it easy for him. If he wants to put up that windmill and generate his own electricity I should make it easy for him to do that. I should make it easy for him to put his excess out on the grid and therefore, individual forms of generation. We’re here to help.
